Y-Mountain!

Climbing this 70-100 foot rock wall was pretty rad
A shot of a gorgeous mountain top, a view I won't forget

Love at first sight

I wanted to climb a mountain, so I found myself climbing the Y-Mountain in Provo, UT. It was three twenty when I started the populated climb. Minutes past by as I look at my watch, but when I look behind me I see myself stopped in time. The beauty of the Rocky Mountains seemed so unreal, you ask yourself "Am I really up here?". Four o'clock hits and I am on top of the Y letter. I keep on hiking up, then I see a wall of rock about 70-100 feet high. My mind is saying GO CLIMB. So I start the climb off with a short video, and then there I go free solo climbing. I reach the top with a smile on my face, looking back down the wall saying "Whoo!" while laughing at the same time. Looking out I see the sunset on the mountains, thinking to myself-this is amazing! I pull out my camera and start shooting pictures at the sky, mountains, and the lit up city below. Thanking them as I shoot. Minutes later I hike back down the mountain to the bottom and find my van. Getting into the van and I say "That was worth it."

This is really cool. I wish I could go hiking and climbing with you. I don't know if I could do a solo climb as you so awesomely performed, but it would be cool to do this stuff with you. Keep this blog updated. I want to see some more of your cool journeys. :)

Thanks bro, Yeah! definitely. We'll have to climb together sometime. That would be pretty cool. Free Soloing that wall was kind of crazy, but hey it was totally worth it.
